GOLF FITNESS CLINIC
OWNER BOB FORMAN
Free Clinic Is Open To The Public And Takes Place January 21
January 13, 2012, Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Golf Academy of America (GAA),
the world¹s largest and longest-running two-year golf career college, will
host a free golf fitness clinic at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21st at its
Myrtle Beach campus. Leading the 90-minute overview of the virtues of
fitness in golf will be Bob Forman, the author/owner of GolFIT Carolina, a
program that helps golfers improve their fitness in order to improve their
golf games.
Forman is a 30-year veteran of the fitness industry and director of the Golf
Fitness Academy in High Point, N.C. In addition, he provides golf fitness
assessment and training at Rick Murphy¹s Carolina Golf Academy in
Greensboro, N.C., and at Barefoot Resort in Myrtle Beach. He has a Masters
in Exercise Physiology, which, combined with his passion for the game of
golf, has distinguished him from other professionals in his field.
³Most golfers don¹t realize how greatly their bodies can prevent them from
playing better golf,² said Forman. ³Identifying and correcting muscle
tightness, weakness and imbalance will allow the golfer to do what he or she
needs to do in order to swing the golf club more efficiently and reliably.²
Myrtle Beach is the next stop on a clinic tour that took Forman to
Westchester Country Club in Harrison, N.Y., in late December and will take
him to Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, S.C., later in January.
To reserve a seat for this free clinic on the 21st, call GAA¹s Myrtle Beach
campus at (843) 236-0481 or Forman directly at (336) 509-4610. The campus
is located at 3268 Waccamaw Blvd. in Myrtle Beach.

the $76 billion per year industry. Golf Academy of America is a golf
